Who are we?


We are ID Control B.V. and we process your personal data. Of course we do our utmost to ask as little data as possible from you and to secure it as well as possible. This privacy policy has been drawn up to give you clarity about what data we collect, why we collect this data and what we do with it.

To whom does this policy apply?


This privacy policy applies to ID Control B.V. When you use our webshop you may be redirected to third parties. In this case the privacy policy of that third party applies.

What is personal data?

Personal data refers to data that can be traced directly (for example name) or indirectly (for example IP address) to you as a person. However, there are different gradations in the types of personal data, namely: Normal, Special, and Sensitive. Who has access to the data?

In the case of storage outside the EEA, we take the necessary measures to ensure proper handling of your personal data through standard clauses, adequacy decisions, and in the case of the United States, we take appropriate measures in addition to our standard clauses and/or adequacy decisions. We never keep your data longer than is permitted or necessary. If you would like to have your data removed, look at the bottom of this document under the heading Your rights.

Share with third parties

We may share your data with third parties. We only do this if it is necessary to fulfill a contractual agreement with you, when we are legally obliged to do so, when it is in our legitimate interest (e.g. providing IT support to solve technical problems) or if you have given explicit permission for this, which you can always revoke. For more information about withdrawing your consent, please see the " Your choices " section at the bottom of this document . In the event that we share your data with processors, we guarantee an adequate form of security by means of processor agreements.

Your choices

You can choose which cookies are placed on your computer, when you come to our site(s), you will be asked which cookies you allow. You can withdraw this consent at any time by visiting our Cookie Statement and informing us of your new choices.

If you have an account with us, you can determine how your data is used, for example you can choose not to use your email address for sending the newsletter. You can also do this by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletters. You can also withdraw your consent for optional data processing at any time (for example, by participating in a customer survey) by contacting our Data Protection Officer via the “Contact Privacy Officer” button.

Your rights

Under the GDPR privacy law, you have a number of rights regarding your personal data.

- The right of access: This means that you can ask us what personal data we have about you.

- The right to data portability: This means that you can ask us to send you a copy of all your data. We deliver this within 30 days in a common format that is also readable for machines.

- The right to be forgotten: You can ask us to delete all data we have about you, we will respond to this within four weeks. The process may take a little longer, but we will let you know. If the removal costs us an unreasonable amount of effort, we may ask you for a sum of money, which we will of course inform you about. The costs charged are administrative costs only. However, there are a few instances where we are not legally permitted to comply with the removal request, if this is the case you will hear from us with an explanation as to why we cannot.

- The right to correction: If you think that the personal data we hold about you is incorrect, you can ask us to correct it.

- The right to object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data if you suspect that the processing is unlawful or if you withdraw your consent.

- The right to a human view: When an organization makes automated decisions about you, you have the right to object to this decision and have this decision reconsidered by a human. You can do this by contacting our Privacy Officer.

- Please note that exercising your rights may have consequences for the use of our services.
